This is the engineering blog of Syalia. We build software products, and along the way we build the developer tools we use ourselves every day: tools for working with AI agents, for storing data and for building web applications. Many of them are open source under the MIT license. This blog is where we write about how they work and what we learned building them.
What you will read here
Articles about these tools and the practice around them: how a design held up under real use, what broke, and what we measured. We hold ourselves to one rule: no article goes out without a measurement of our own or a real failure behind it. There is already plenty of general writing about software and AI, and we do not want to add to it.
We will start with one article a month. We have no content calendar, because we want to publish when there is something to report.
What we build
You can see everything we have published on our GitHub. Each repository explains what the tool does and how to install it.
Tell us what you think
We are not writing to collect subscribers. We want people who try these tools and tell us what is wrong with them. Reply to this post, or open an issue on the repository of the tool you tried.
English and Spanish
English is the official language of this blog, and every post also has a Spanish version. If your device is set to Spanish, the post page offers a Translate button that opens that version. Emails go out in English.
How this was written: AI agents drafted this post in English and Spanish, and a person on the team reviewed the final text.
